Bangalore, 23rd September, 2005 - At an inaugural function held at Hotel Taj Gateway in Bangalore yesterday, Parrus IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a leading company in the software configuration management space and the exclusive Indian partner for Perforce Software USA, announced the launch of the "India Perforce User Group". The Perforce User Group will provide a platform for all Perforce users in India to network with each other and to share their knowledge and experience of using the Perforce SCM tool and best practices in software configuration management.
The inaugural meeting of the Perforce Users Group was attended by Perforce users and administrators from a large number of Bangalore companies, including Synopsys, HP, Caritor, Logica CMG, Network Appliances, Sasken Communications, Centrata, Yodlee India, Macromedia, Tavant Technologies, Lightsurf Technologies, etc.
Presiding over the occasion, Mr. Sowinder Singh, Director, Parrus IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. said "We have launched this forum with a view to providing a common platform for discussions relating to Perforce."
